Designed by Imre Reiner and first cast in 1938, this script typeface was announced in 1945 as Stradivarius, which was its name in English-speaking countries. Fundición Tipográfica Neufville in Barcelona offered it as Sinfonia. In Frankfurt, it was published not before 1948, now as Symphonie (Bertheau). The metal typeface had alternates for ‘M’, ‘N’ and ‘T’.
Digitized as Stradivarius, which is also used for the sample here.
