A 1850 design by Miller & Richard, later produced by Stephenson Blake [Reichardt 2011].

No precise digital revival exists, but Canada Type’s King Tut (used for this sample) comes close. See also Egyptian Wide for a similar wood type and a revival thereof.

Not to be confused with Monotype’s Egyptian 72.
