Designed by Alexander Colby, loosely based upon an IBM Selectric typewriter face, see Light Italic. First released in 2007 with Gestalten as Lacrima, in three italics weights. Later moved to Milieu Grotesque. In 2010, the upright Lacrima Serif and Lacrima Senza (with sans-serif caps, no ball terminals on ‘cjkrsvwxz’ and a cursive ‘y’) were added, and Lacrima was renamed Lacrima Italic, now extended to five weights. Revised by Timo Gaessner in 2019.
