Zierschrift Thalia is an extension to Zierschrift
Juno, with “peculiar
letterforms added”, namely swash caps and a few swash lowercase
alternates (e.g. descending c, e, k, s). Both were issued in 1894.
For sizes from 84pt upwards, Thalia was named
Nymphe. [1912 specimen] [S&G
Plakatschriften, 1926].
Once available from various phototype sources incl.
Photo-Lettering as Xenotype 0528 (in or before 1962, with alternate
caps) and Berthold (shown in E1 with plain lowercase
plus swash caps only). Also carried by Letraset [1978
ad] and Mecanorma.
