Studio was designed in 1946 by Adolf Overbeek for Lettergieterij Amsterdam. Also cast by the Gujarati typefoundry as Jaideo. In 1954, Dick Dooijes added a bold version, called Flambard [Reichardt 2011].

Both weights were carried by VGC, as Studio and Studio Bold [VGC 1972].

Mecanorma has a digital version of Studio. Both weights were revived and expanded by Hans van Maanen as Adams (Canada Type, 2008, used for the sample).
