Parsons

Designed in 1917 by Will Ransom. In 1918, Italic and Bold styles were added. Comes with oversize ascenders and descenders. Parsons Swash Initials were designed by Sidney Gaunt [McGrew 1993].

Digital interpretations include OPTI Puritan Bold Flair (Castcraft, 1990–1991), AI Parsons (Alphabets, Inc.), Parsnip NF (Nick’s Fonts, 2004, used for the sample).
