Originally designed for Hotel Mudéjar in Cali, Colombia. A preliminary version in five weights was released in February 2023 via Future Fonts. Developed around three parameters: 1. Formal parallels to the Arabic alphabet, with Kristyan Sarkis’s Teshrin providing inspiration specifically. 2. Geometry (circle, triangle, square) as in early geometric grotesks. 3. Rhythm and balance through varied widths.
