Shown in three numbered weights (6, 8, 10) plus one lighter and wider style named Microflair Wide in 1965, but not yet in 1960 [PLINC 1960] [PLINC 1965]. Used by 1962. One bold condensed style name Microflair Cond 10 and two bold condensed Drop Shadow styles were added by 1971. [PLINC 1971] Appears to be inspired by Microgramma, but with flared stems. Unlike the sample may suggest, there’s also a lowercase.
A lighter style with more animation was shown as Flaxa in 1965 [PLINC 1965] and later renamed to Microflair Casual [PLINC One Liner 1971]. This style appears to be identical to Filmotype Madison.
