Inspired by the logo and cover lettering of Kornog – Occident, a magazine created in 1928 by the group Ar Seiz Breur that quickly became a reference for artistic renewal in Brittany. The lettering was engraved in wood by René-Yves Creston and Suzanne Candré-Creston, co-founders of the collective, with Jeanne Malivel and Jorj Robin. In 1995, when Skritur – typographie & identité was published, graphic designer Fañch Le Henaff presented a first alphabet based on the logo. Released in a revised and expanded version in 2023, in two styles, Original and Print (eroded). [Skritur]
