Modern Gothic Condensed

A condensed companion to Modern Gothic, often misidentified as Franklin Gothic Condensed. Referred to as Gothic Modern in some specimens. It was copied by Monotype at an early date. In 1928, Sol Hess drew a set of alternate caps and the name was changed to Tourist Gothic in display sizes. The Triangle foundry had an open version named Medium Condensed Gothic Outline.
