ITC Tiffany

Designed as “a merge of two typefaces, Caxton and Ronaldson”. – Benguiat, 1991. Used in the first issue of U&lc from 1973 and made available in 1974. Extended in July 1981 with italics (incl. alternates for ‘vwyJKR&’) and small caps for the roman light and medium styles. [U&lc Vol. 8 No. 2]

Digitizations by Bitstream (Revival 831) and Adobe, each in three weights. ITC’s and Elsner+Flake’s versions have all four weights. The only version to include the swash alternates is Alan Prescott’s (unavailable). Tiflis by BigFont/FontBank has the small caps (unavailable).
