Originally released in two weights as Kaufmann Script and Kaufmann Bold (ATF, 1936). Swing 583 Bold is Lanston Monotype’s name for the latter, see Swing. Also available as Universal (TF) and as Ballpen Script (Kobundo). [Reichardt 2011]
