ITC Kabel

A reinterpretation of Rudolf Koch’s Kabel (Klingspor, 1927–1930), made by Victor Caruso under a special license from Stempel. Distinguished by the increased x-height. Introduced in 1975 in four upright weights. [U&lc, vol. 3, no. 2] A fifth Demi weight was added by 1981 [U&lc, vol. 8, no. 1]

Digital versions by ITC (no alternates) and by Bitstream as Kabel BT a.k.a. Geometric 731 (exclusively w/ the alternate ampersand, 1990–1993, discontinued).
