Shown in Typeshop’s 1973 catalog in seven styles: Light, Medium, Bold, Ultra, Inline (outlined), Line (much like Filmsense A), Color Line (like Line w/o solid fills). A later catalog shows an eighth style named Center Line (similar to Dubbeldik or Yagi Double). [Typeshop c.1977] Expressa Line & Color Line were also carried by Hollenstein in 1974.
Digital versions only cover the solid styles, in five weights. They are more consistent and don’t match the phototype original in all details, and also lack the alternates. Versions include Expressa EF (Elsner+Flake), TS Expressa (TypeShop Collection, like EF, with obliques), Expressa Serial (SoftMaker, different e.g. in ‘s’ or ‘1’).
