A revision of Corporate (Alphabet Innovations, 1971) in small caps with disconnected, angle-ended strokes, with base letterforms apparently derived from Eurostile/Microgramma [comparison]. Origin unclear. Used in 1976 and maybe as early as 1975. Shown by Solotype (1992) as Corporate Gothic. Digitized by URW as Corporate URW (used for sample).
Digitized by The Font Company before 1993 [Coles] and later distributed by URW who credit the design to Martin [MyFonts]. MyFonts once claimed it was designed in 1985–89, but that seems to have been a leftover from a previous entry that accidentally conflated this design with Kurt Weidemann’s unrelated Corporate series.
