Designed by Brussels painter Georges Lemmen for a 1908 edition of Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra by the Insel Verlag in Leipzig. The book project was initiated by Harry Graf Kessler who commissioned Henry van de Velde with the design.

Lorène Picard started a revival in 2012 in the type design class at La Cambre, Brussels. Digitized from the metal sorts. A first version (v0.1) was released in 2016. See also Or Lemmen.
