A capital alphabet plus numerals (w/o zero), drawn by Walter Haettenschweiler in 1967, apparently modeled after lettering by Ben Shahn, and reproduced under the name Happening in Lettera 3 (1968).

Subsequently adopted as photo typeface by Photoscript [Photoscript 1970] and others. Shown as Blade Display in the Solotype catalog (1992).

Digitized by Patrick Broderick as Maynard (1998, used for sample). Alan Prescott’s New Blade Display (1996, no longer available?) is another digitization, adding alternate capitals in the lowercase.
