This entry covers Grimm-Antiqua and Neue Römische Antiqua, which form essentially one family. Designed by Richard Grimm-Sachsenberg and cast by Klinkhardt in four styles; Magere Römische Grimm-Antiqua with Grimm-Cursiv and the wider Neue Römische Antiqua with halbfett. Comes with initials and ornaments [1913 ad] A fifth style, Grimm-Antiqua schmal halbfett, was added in 1914. Later continued by Berthold [Wetzig 1926–40]. Eventually all five styles were named Grimm-Antiqua. [1925 ad]
See also Saxonia, which appears to be a precursor to Neue Römische Antiqua, with many glyphs being identical across the two.
