Concave Condensed originated ca. 1882 at MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan, following Concave. [Reichardt 2011] Morgans & Wilcox showed a wood type version in 1891. [Kelly 1969] A similar design is shown by Caslon in wood as Ornamented No. 32 [c.1900 Caslon specimen] and metal [c.1915 specimen]. No lowercase.
