Self-initiated posters for the 1979 album All Of Me by Masayoshi Takanaka. I worked with different elements of the Pacific Ocean in reference to the original design of the album.

‘Uroboro’ was the theme of Adobe’s Creative Cloud event, held in 2018:

All organisms are part of a single system that communicates with itself and evolves not towards a destiny that separates it, but goes through an evolutionary spiral back to itself. Destiny is the source, but the source is infinitely nourished by its own creativity.

Uroboro expresses the unity of all things, the material and the spiritual, which never disappear but change form in an eternal cycle. The idea is that the creature acquires a 3-dimensional volume, with elements around it in 2d, subtle elements that do not opaque the protagonism of the creature. The parts that make up the creature are not final decisions, they can be represented by other creatures.

The sexy new spinoff where “Anything Goes” is back this Friday, January 10th. The producers of Ostbahnhof bring the weird, wild, and wonder of the warehouse to Precinct in Downtown LA.

The typography of this latest poster in an ongoing series brings together several of the fonts already used in previous editions. New to the mix is FH Giselle, designed by Fatih Hardal​​​​​​​ and released in September 2019. The sans with the extrathin horizontals in the uppercase is used for the R in “VERS”, alongside Lÿno Jean (V) and Ulys (E) as well as Harbour (S). In further prominent roles: Respira Black in all caps for “Anything Goes”, Roslindale for venue and date, and Beatrice Display for the rotated instance of “The Party by Ostbahnhof” at the right.
