Golden Type, or Morris Golden, a chunky interpretation of
Nicholas Jenson’s Renaissance types. [HiH]

roman. ATF advertised Phinney’s Jenson Heavyface in
1899 […] Jenson Condensed and Bold
Condensed were introduced in 1901.” [McGrew 1993] Sold by Stephenson Blake as
Italian Old Style (not to be confused with other types
of the same name).
