Originally started during Type@Cooper in 2010 with an interest in reviving Louvaine, the project soon evolved to include a large optical size version with ultra thin hairlines, and to expand the weight into the fatface range of designs such as Ultra Bodoni. Further research into the italics led to sources such as J. F. Unger’s Doppel Tertia Cursiv, while the small heavy sizes drew inspiration from Enschedé’s Compacte Romain. [CJ Type] Released in 2019 in 40 styles: 5 weights and 4 optical sizes, all with italics.
