Picture Adventure Club is a series of hiking events organized by Picture Organic Clothing which does not only focus on enjoying the outdoor world but also on recharging batteries. These events are made to be unique adventures: refreshing hikes in stunning locations followed by a brunch.

Maroni by Arthur Calame is used as the main typeface. The accompanying sans is Neue Haas Unica. The “Grasse Mat’” logo appears to be custom drawn [edit: it’s based on Salsa BT Redonda Redonda]. Designs by/via Kiblind (Kiblind is an agency, an atelier and a publisher).

Perro Negro is a space that worships reggaeton music and long nights of intense “perreo” (referred to the way reggaeton music is danced to). It is one of the most recognized nightclubs in Medellín, Colombia. A must for people visiting the city.

Penitente BT was originally conceived as a serif typeface. However, during the redesign process, the need for a sans serif version arose and Penitente Sans BT Variable was born, a typeface that allows movement through distortion and tilt, making the deliverable for the team’s designers very practical and easy to use. In addition to that, Penitente Sans reflects the energy, expressiveness and musical stridency of a night at Perro Negro.

For the brand identity designed by Invade, the font variables were named Dale, DaleSuave, DaleDuro.

Es lo que es (“It is what it is”) is a graffiti-typographic editorial project in newspaper format, created in collaboration with Saks and Bastarda Type.

Connecting graffiti and typography was the challenge with which the project started, seeking to exalt the “letter” as the main focus of communication. The name of the specimen comes from the essence of graffiti, where the force produced by the spontaneity of the stroke crosses limits, which finds a balance with typographic rigor.

The editorial piece is accompanied by a DVD which, through the photographic and video record created by Oscar Ramirez and Doomingo, shows the process behind the intervention, the sounds, the essence and everything that is not seen.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Semana magazine prepares the great special “Atlas of Nazism in South America”, an x-ray of how this event affected the politics of some countries in the hemisphere, the key events during the war and the characters who were relevant in it.

Semana BT is a custom typeface family consisting of Semana Sans and Semana Serif, designed for an extended editorial use. It has humanistic features and organic strokes inspired by the main typographic characteristics of the logotype.

Carmen. Cerámica e Iconografía is a book that allows us to approach the history, art and design of Carmelite ceramics to help keep it alive. The book was designed and published by Mesæstándar.

Orca BT is constructed from a blend of sharp serifs and outward brush strokes that create a dynamic combination of angular lines and curves. Its tall x-height, moderate ascenders and descenders, and wide proportions make it suitable for display texts and labelling. In this book design, it is paired with FF Unit.

Archivo de la Memoria Trans is a cultural space founded by María Belen Correa, for the protection, construction and vindication of the Argentine Trans Memory.

Archivo de la Memoria Trans brings together the images and stories of trans women over 50 years, preserving the memory of those who suffered abuse by the police, the abandonment of the State and the hostility of the society that attended, indolently, a silent genocide.

This graphic material is part of the communication designed for a documentary series directed by Agustina Comedi and Mariana Bomba. In the key of a documentary essay, the series is structured through four axes, each one featuring one of them: they tell us about carnival, affections, exile and organization; and, through their personal experiences, they open the door for us to understand the reality of an entire community.

Cintia, Edith, María Belén and Trachyn survived. They share the intimacy and complexity of those who faced injustice and pain with humor and creativity, but also with organization and community.

Archivo de la Memoria Trans is an archive that resists oblivion and silence, a chosen family that meets in an act of memory and resistance.

BT Bárbara (Fer Cozzi, Bastarda Types) and Helvetica are used throughout.

The symbol of the brand Maloka is the representation of duality through the sun and the moon. The typographic part of the identity is bold, angular, and preserves a formal relationship with the brand symbol.

For Monifue, our chili pepper sub-brand, we work with the cosmogonic story about the birth of chili according to the Uitoto Murui ethnicity. For the Monifue brand typeface, which will also be used in the future Maloka sub-brands, we worked closely with Bastarda Type and Fer Cozzi. We used their BT Bárbara typeface, a more subtle font than Harbour by Gareth Hague which we have chosen for Maloka – the relationship through the angular endings.

Additionally, BT Bárbara’s designers added characters typical of the Uitoto script to the typographic set, so we can use words from the culture while maintaining and respecting their writing.

All the elements that integrate Maloka’s identity are loaded with indigenous cultural significance. Our goal is that when the indigenous people of the Amazon see the brand of their products, they can see the connection and the symbolisms that it contains and relate them to their cosmogonic vision.
