The Reflected Self: Portrait Miniatures, 1540–1850 examines the functions of portrait miniatures through the centuries, from those held in the hand of Queen Elizabeth I to their eclipse by the invention of photography.

Curated by Compton Verney and The Limner Company. The 3D exhibition design is by Ali Brown. Photography by Simon Bevan. Badrock Design is responsible for the identity, typography and 2D design.

The art project “Скарбниця” (“Skarbnytsia”; English: “The Treasure”) is dedicated to cities and towns that have suffered from Russian aggression, terrorist attacks, occupation, or have been wiped off the face of the earth. These are handmade miniatures created to keep these cities forever in our memory.

The idea was conceived by Tetyana Zubko. The website features Kyiv Region and Geraldton.

Forever Jade. Chinese Jade Miniatures from Four Millennia is an exhibition currently shown at Museum Rietberg in Zurich, Switzerland:

Softly translucent with a matte lustre, silky smooth to the touch yet harder than steel, created by nature and crafted by the human hand – no other material was as beloved in China as jade.

The poster for the show uses NN Nouvelle Grotesk.

Citadel kits released as part of the Warhammer 40,000 range have featured Redeye Serif for several years.

The Citadel logo uses Quadrata II or one of the various versions thereof.

Elizabethan Treasures: Miniatures by Hilliard and Oliver is an exhibition shown at the National Portrait Gallery, London till 19 May 2019.

Described as ‘a thing apart from all other painting or drawing’, the portrait miniatures of the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods are some of the greatest works of art to be produced in the British Isles. Hilliard and Oliver were compared by their contemporaries to Michelangelo and Raphael, and gained international fame and admiration. This is the first major UK exhibition of these miniatures for a generation.

The Hawkland typeface is used for all the exhibition graphics.
