Studio Ugly created the visual identity for the social campaigns Stadtrand-Buddies and KlingelZeit. These two projects were initiated by AWO Berlin Kreisverband Südost and Neuköllner Engagement Zentrum, and aim to help lonely senior citizens in Berlin-Neukölln by supporting sociable activities with neighbors and volunteers.

The campaigns included a postcard/flyer, a folded leaflet, a bookmark and social media assets. It was typeset in HAL Repost, published by HAL Typefaces. The printed ephemera was produced by Spreedruck.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Hone Studio is a small, collaborative landscape architecture firm focused on craft, refinement, and place-based design.

Drawing on years of experience, the studio works closely with clients and communities to deliver thoughtful, resilient landscapes across projects of all scales, guided by careful listening, local knowledge, and a commitment to honest, well-made outcomes.

Branding assets featuring Gatch were designed in-house by Hone Studio. The website additionally uses Crimson Pro.

When developing the visual identity for the Moscow-based dental clinic OrthOffice (Ортофис), Holystick took a contemporary approach, departing from the traditional look often associated with medical environments. The aim was to create a clear, professional appearance that remains approachable and relevant to the practice's predominantly young patients.

The team selected the Halvar typeface for the typography. The slanted technical construction of the letterforms suggest precision and efficiency, aligning with the clinic’s professional character. Halvar Breitschrift was used for display and headlines, bringing a fresh, modern tone to the visual language. Meanwhile, Halvar Mittelschrift served as the text typeface, ensuring readability and consistency across applications. The Halvar typeface was also a practical choice due to its comprehensive Latin and Cyrillic support, making it well-suited for a bilingual identity system.

In the logo, Holystick played with the SuperSlanted style of Halvar to create a wordmark that conveys a sense of movement and direction. Overall, the typographic system proves a balance between contemporary expression and clarity, demonstrating how design can support aesthetic and functional needs in a healthcare context.

Beyond simple objects, GiftArt delivers artistic inspiration that blends into everyday life. At typefounder, we designed a comprehensive visual system by reinterpreting GiftArt’s symbolic ribbon and gift motifs into a unique graphic language.

TT Commons Pro is featured on the website of Uniqlo, a Japanese casual clothing retailer. Japanese text is rendered in Hiragino Kaku Gothic.

The logo of LifeWear, Uniqlo’s web magazine, appears to use Times New Roman with the a borrowed from Big Caslon. The text serif is Libre Baskerville.

FL Rare by Flight Mode Type (Alex Slobzheninov) is the brand font of Serigrafia Los Gatos, as proposed by Design Office Fun (Paula de Álvaro):

A few months ago, we received a proposal from Contemporary Type to create the communication for the launch of a new typeface (FL Rare), so we decided to develop a complete identity to showcase the typeface in use.​ We reached out to Serigrafia Los Gatos to explain the concept and, after months of collaboration and screen-printing absolutely every object in their workshop with this new typeface, they even turned their van into a typographic specimen and business card. We couldn’t have chosen a better victim to turn ​F​L Rare font into a tangible reality across multiple formats.

The different weights of the typeface connected perfectly with the screen printing technique​, the use of more or less ink and the resulting texture, from the lightest weight (FL Rare Display Fine) to the boldest (FL Rare Display Black), passing through all the intermediate ones. That’s why we reached out to Serigrafia Los Gatos to share this idea of an identity​-specimen.

In 2014 Pentagram, led by Luke Hayman, partnered with Golf Digest’s creative director Ken Delago to redesign the magazine. The goal was to “connect with millennial golfers (ages 25–34)—the magazine’s fastest growing segment of readership—as well as the traditional core golfer (age 50–plus).”

To update the masthead, the designers looked for a font with balls—specifically, ball terminals, which add a playful touch given the subject matter. The contemporary stencil-like font Dala Moa was selected for its distinctive ball terminals, which break free from the letterforms so balls can be hidden in plain sight in the logotype and in display text. With the blessing of Dala Moa's designer, Paul Barnes, the terminals were customized to make them perfectly round. Commercial Type, the foundry that licenses the font, worked on refining the logotype by adjusting the letter spacing as well as the spacing of the stenciling, to make sure the identity would work in a range of different sizes. The colored dot of the “i” in “Digest” was retained as a link to the magazine’s former logo.

In addition to the Dala Moa used for the masthead, section openers and other display type, the team put together a suite of fonts: Heroic Condensed, used mainly for cover lines and display type on features; the Fakt family (Fakt, Fakt Semi Condensed, Fakt Condensed), used mainly for small headlines in front of book; and Tiempos Text, used for body text.

Heroic Condensed, a 2008 family by Silas Dilworth, may have been inspired by the condensed styles of the 1950s typeface Information, which has that telltale R with a straight, diagonal leg.

As of this writing (October 2025), the Dala Moa logo and Heroic Condensed have survived in Golf Digest for over ten years – even on social media – while other typefaces, Gotham and Tungsten, have replaced Fakt in print and the web.

For their rebrand, nowthen used Sagace as the main typeface, paired with Hauora Sans Medium for text.

When a typeface called Woodland is used for the guidebook and visual identity of a forest (the New Forest is a national park), I believe that might qualify for an instance of LTypI. That said, I think the type works very well, and the illustrations that accompany Woodland in the branding add great character. According to Wikipedia:

The New Forest is one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest in Southern England, covering southwest Hampshire and southeast Wiltshire. It was proclaimed a royal forest by William the Conqueror, featuring in the Domesday Book.

TwelveLabs is redefining how AI understands video. Instead of relying on tags or transcripts, its models interpret video as a multidimensional system—connecting dialogue, gestures, objects, emotions, and events over time. Based in Seoul and San Francisco, the company has built a new brand identity around the concept of “video as volume,” turning complex AI infrastructure into something visible, intuitive, and meaningful.

The new identity was crafted by Pentagram, bringing clarity and expression to TwelveLabs’ vision. They used the typeface Milling, designed by Tanguy Vanlaeys and distributed by 205TF.

CaféCité in Seoul was envisioned as more than a café—it is a keeper of memories, a place where fragments of personal journeys are gathered, treasured, and shared. Rice translated this vision into a brand identity built on a flexible grid system, echoing drawers filled with postcards, souvenirs, and fleeting moments.

Illustrations take the form of travel mementos and postcard-like scenes, nodding to the café’s role as a meeting point for stories. A masthead-inspired logo anchors the brand with presence, while evoking the editorial voice of a city publication. HEX Franklin is our primary brand typeface. HEX Franklin is an homage to the classic Franklin Gothic type family and its lighter-weight siblings, News Gothic and Lightline Gothic. This gives the brand a unique character that stands out while remaining elegant and approachable.

Together, these elements create a framework that is both dynamic and evolving—mirroring the shifting rhythms of urban life. Through this system, CaféCité becomes more than a destination for coffee. It stands as a living archive, where the city and its people inscribe their own memories, continuously adding to a collective story still unfolding.

The Halo Beriti label uses Beatle.

TalentWise Collective is a talent solutions collective with global reach. Founded by three women with a shared goal to build a supportive community that prioritizes meaningful relationships, a warm and elegant design system was created to support their ethos. The logo is set in Romie Regular and Italic (designed by Margot Lévêque). The website is set in Attila Sans by Kometa Typefaces. The visual identity is designed by Clare Chow.

The 1982 film The Beastmaster was released on DVD and VHS by Anchor Bay Entertainment in 2001. This was the first time the film was made available on DVD, though it had previously been released on VHS with different cover designs.

For this release, a new logo was designed using Morpheus. The glyphs were modified slightly by unjoining the s’s and raising the heights of the t’s in “BeastMaster” (but not in “the”).

The new logo closely resembles that of the contemporary BeastMaster TV series (which used Mason Serif).

Droulers is the brand typeface of Doskiwis Brewing. From design studio Basora:

This is a story about love, love for the land, love for nature, love for beer and love for each other.

Dos Kiwis was born from a unique story: a craft brewery in the heart of Empordà, founded by a couple—one from New Zealand and the other Catalan. The name comes from the kiwi bird, a cute, flightless bird native to New Zealand. While the name had a strong personality, the brand lacked a cohesive narrative that tied everything together.

Their brewery is set in a breathtaking natural environment, surrounded by lush landscapes and wildlife. As we explored its surroundings, we discovered that “Els Aiguamolls de l’Empordà”, a major nesting site for migratory birds, is very close to the brewery. This insight became the foundation of the brand’s storytelling: birds as the soul of Dos Kiwis.

We reimagined the two kiwis as the hosts of a space where beer and birds coexist, creating a visual identity rooted in nature. This concept allowed us to craft a rich and flexible graphic system inspired by the life of birds—from eggs and nests to the graceful flight of those that inhabit the area.

To further differentiate Dos Kiwis, we moved away from the bold, colorful aesthetic typical in the craft beer industry. Instead, we embraced a more poetic, delicate visual identity, enhancing the romanticism of the brand’s story while making it stand out in a crowded market.

RushBee is an entertainment marketing agency by Paris-based esport team Team Vitality. Their brand identity uses TWK Everett with Everett Mono.

QuiteLike is reimagining the category by turning mealtimes into meaningful, memorable moments—full of flavour, flexibility, and just a little pinch of pzazz.

From brand strategy and tone of voice to visual identity, packaging and beyond, UF refreshed every element of the QuiteLike experience. The new brand identity captures the rhythm of cooking through warm photography, expressive illustrations, bold typography, and a punchy colour palette that balances foodie sophistication with playful zest.

QuiteLike’s typography system was built to flex between expressive and functional, premium and approachable. The core typefaces, Neue Montreal, Spezia, and Spezia Serif, work together to create dynamic and eyecatching hierarchy. Neue Montreal leads with bold, confident energy, bringing a contemporary edge to headlines. Spezia, used across serif and sans cuts, introduces warmth, clarity, and a subtle editorial feel.

EverYou uses Orange Squash for its website and branding, including the logo and all marketing materials. Formerly known as Tender Loving Care (TLC), established in 1995, EverYou provides high-quality wigs, headwear, and recovery products to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment. These products help patients feel like themselves through hair loss and other side effects of treatment.

EverYou works with the American Cancer Society to ensure each product meets the needs of cancer patients. With the use of Orange Squash, EverYou creates a warm, welcoming identity that helps patients feel supported and empowered during their cancer journey.

Softer Digital Futures: London 2025 brought together artists, designers, and thinkers to imagine regenerative, nature-inspired approaches to technology. Held at The Art House in Hackney, the event featured panels, performances, an exhibition, and immersive design spaces.

This year’s visual identity, created by Lucy Harmony Grimes, played a central role – merging digital and organic aesthetics in a bold, soft-femme-tech style. Through swirling textures, butterfly motifs, and a palette of pinks, flowers, and bubbles, the identity challenged the tech industry’s typical hard-edged minimalism. They used a combo of soft sans serif and rounded pixel fonts. Among them, Raum by Justin Sloane, Acid Grotesk by Folch, and what looks like a modified setting of Lineto’s LL Moonbase, featuring its alternate e.

Raum introduced inktrap-dented letterforms that added a tactile, humanized feel to the branding. It extended across physical and digital formats, including merch, and signage, shaping the atmosphere of the event. The result was a cohesive, expressive design ecosystem that echoed the conference’s themes of ecological intelligence, more-than-human design, and digital softness.

Health-Ade, known for its kombucha beverages, has entered a new market with SunSip, a line of healthier sodas. Seventies script font by Sproviero Type was tapped for the project by Flock, who handled the fun and fresh brand and design work for the gut-healthy drink company. They used Balgin Bold from Studio Sun as the perfect sans serif companion.

Seventies had minor customization work done by Maximiliano Sproviero with some help from The Type Founders. This included lowering the dot on the i, widening the bowl of the p and swashing its tail, along with a few subtle tweaks for a more streamlined look.

Additional fonts used on the can labels include Kostic’s Roc Grotesk, Klim Type Foundry’s Söhne Schmal, and Helvetica with Condensed.
