LTypI (a play on ATypI) stands for “Lack of Typographic Imagination”, the act of picking a typeface because its name matches the content. The LTypI tag applies when (key parts of) the typeface name appear in text set in said typeface. Edge cases like translations or transpositions may be included.
Despite the derogatory name, many of these examples are more coincidental than intentional, while others are intentional but imaginative nevertheless. See more LTypIs on Flickr and Mastodon.
