Resilience is a tribute to Paul Hertzog’s soundtracks for legendary 1980’s movies Kickboxer and Bloodsport starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. It is also a reminder to those who struggle with tough times life can bring to you, remain strong and you will prevail. Quoting Steve Goodier:

My scars remind me that I did indeed survive my deepest wounds. That in itself is an accomplishment. And they bring to mind something else, too. They remind me that the damage life has inflicted on me has, in many places, left me stronger and more resilient. What hurt me in the past has actually made me better equipped to face the present.

Originally released on May 12, 2018, his is the new artwork for the re-release on February 2021. A Part II is going to follow later this year, with the same artwork. Now available on Bandcamp and Spotify.

Bild (third version) has been used for the band title and part indication. The title is set in Last Dance and Compacta evokes 1980s movie titles in the track listing on the back cover.

Cover design for the debut album of the Miami based artist, Dream Shore. Concept:

Miami, a modern metropolis and cultural treasure trove, a place of “dreams & leisure” surrounded by a “glamorous subtropical paradise” during the day and a place of “mystery and adventure” by night. But like all good places, paradise comes at a cost, where you can’t even tell the players without a program. There is good and there is ugly and among them there’s the sunset.

Marvin Visions has been consistently used for the logo, as well as for social media communication posts. In this artwork it’s paired with Rainmaker Script for the front cover. Hamillton One is used for the song titles on the back cover.

We Are Still Here is a 2015 horror film directed by Ted Geoghegan. The retro-inspired synth soundtrack by polish composer Wojciech Golczewski was previously available via ScreamWorks Records, but is being released in a new vinyl edition by Death Waltz, with additional tracks from Slow Moses and Kleen Kut, and design by Sister Hyde Design.

The album art features Davida and Futura Black with collaged images of skulls, flames, and the house that plays a central role in the film. The typefaces aren't the most obvious choices for horror-themed design, but it’s also not the first time either has appeared on horror-related materials (e.g. Davida was used for The Baby movie poster and Futura Black was used for Dawn of the Dead (1978) movie posters).
