Me and Scott Mellor go way back, all the way to the Romborama days—my first album. But it wasn’t until mid-2019 that we really locked in and started working together as a solid team. Since then, we’ve been shaping the visual identity of The Bloody Beetroots piece by piece, staying true to what makes this project stand out: our love for analog meeting digital, where print collides with tech, and where we embrace human imperfections in a world obsessed with being flawless.

Kapsalon De Wijert was a hairdresser in the neighbourhood De Wijert in Groningen, the Netherlands. It opened in 2014/2015 and closed in mid 2022.

The font choice, Ecliptic BRK, although legible, is an odd choice. It is more suited for sci-fi purposes than for a hairdresser.

Flyer for a techno event at Húrra Reykjavík. The theme was plasma and the poster depicts a plasma ball and video game theme: at the event, Studio23 had two projectors with live visuals. The typefaces in use are Art Dystopia (for the event title), and the lineup is set in Chintzy CPU BRK.
