Designed by the Slovenian design studio Ljudje, Indeks is Dacho’s debut album. The cover features a photo of the young rapper and mimics a student record book. Main title is set in Ergon, the stamp uses a typeface named Karlin, designed by Type Salon after a concept design by studio Ljudje, and the artist’s full name is written by hand. There are a few more typefaces making an appearance and extending the typographic palette: Helvetica, Notera and Cactus Jack.

S01E01, “The National Anthem”. The title lettering is a little similar to Eagle.

In 2016, Brazilian artist Bily Mariano da Luz, better known as Butcher Billy, started creating covers for fictive comic books inspired by the British TV series Black Mirror. From his Behance page:

What if, in an alternate universe, the cult tv show Black Mirror had been inspired by a series of old school comic books from the 70’s? Horror, suspense, crime, romance… anything goes.

He posted these covers to his Tumblr. “Once series creator Charlie Brooker discovered the images through Twitter, Billy was eventually hired to do artwork featured in the episodes themselves.” — Wikipedia

The lettering appears to be drawn by hand, but at least some of it is based on typefaces. The “Black Mirror” title is patterned after Koloss.

There’s also a related series for the fourth season, which is not shown here. Titled Tales from the Black Mirrors, it adds elements from Tales of the Unexpected.

S01E3, “The Entire History of You”. The title appears to be based on Samdan (or maybe Danzig 4P) which in turn is inspired by the band logos of Samhain and Danzig.

S02E03, “The Waldo Moment” ft. a wide grotesque

S03E04, “San Junipero”, with the title featuring Mastoc. “Heaven is a place on earth” is based on Cooper Black Italic.

S03E05, “Men Against Fire”. The title is based on the lettering from the poster for Full Metal Jacket. Compare to Zarana and Checkmate.

“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” is a talk series held at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Since 2019, it has been hosting public lectures, debates, and book presentations, with Tim Ingold and Victoria Browne among their guests.

Designer Stephanie Specht was in charge of the visual identity. She developed a series of posters featuring title, venue and date set in Neue Haas Unica Medium and “Art Talk” in Coign 47 Bold, while the names of the speakers stand out with a diverse range of typefaces. All in all, Specht designed at least fifty different posters, almost always with different typefaces. Her eclectic approach adds a vibrant flair to the design, which is renewed for every event. German chain Krome’s Backstube has been serving up baked goods since 1881, through four generations. Emphasizing their values of tradition, handmade quality, and fresh goods, the branding pairs Study, a warm, calligraphic, bookish serif with Canela Bark, a jaunty swashed script.

The bakery’s website was designed and coded by Exportarts in 2019, based on previously established branding.

Manje Bistre 2 – This time in Canada (2019) is the sequel to Manje Bistre (2017). From IMDb:

The movie follows Sukhi as he goes from India to Canada to attend his cousin, Ganda's wedding - a typical big fat traditional Punjabi wedding.

The script used for the Latin title is Guld Script. The DIN 1451-style font is my Punjabi MMF DIN 1451 Engschrift. It is used in the background for “They are back” and in the subtitle. The pink line says: “But in Canada”. GHP Full is used in the top right corner.

Slightly customized, but recognizable: Måns Grebäck’s script typeface Motion Picture is used for the branding of Archibald.

In 2005, the Lac-Beauport region charmed the founders of Archibald Microbrasserie in the same way it did to settler’s centuries ago. Focusing on the importance of family and authentic cuisine, they created a family of beers that according to legend, represent the women from Archibald Simons’ life. — Archibald Microbrewery

Started as a microbrewery/microbrasserie, Archibald has now grown into a food chain with four restaurants in Canada; its beer is a subbrand of multinational drink and brewing company AB InBev since 2016.

Sapphire Sativa is a parody of Hermann Zapf’s Saphir, with hemp leaves for the floral decoration. It was made by Daniel Gauthier in 2005.
