Bruce

New York, 1813–1901. A.k.a. George Bruce’s Son & Co. / Bruce’s New-York Type-Foundry after George Bruce’s death in 1866, and Bruce Type Foundry in 1901, when it was acquired by ATF. [MacMillan] The last Bruce specimen book was published in 1900, but the foundry continued to cast type under its own name until 1906. [Parker, Saxe]
