With Nederland Verbeeld (The Netherlands, pictured), the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency provides a different perspective on issues surrounding the environment. On 78 colorful pages in landscape format, facts and figures on three areas – transportation, food and energy – are presented visually. The book was shaped by Textcetera in collaboration with Frédérik Ruys (Vizualism) and the PBL picture desk. The typography pairs Peter Verheul’s corporate typeface for the Dutch government with a very different sans-serif: Bryant, the wide and rounded geometric typeface by Eric Olson.
