The typography pairs the condensed display typeface Le Mans Classic for the bold central title with Denton for supporting credits, merging vintage European thriller aesthetics with contemporary Scandinavian film design.

In 2024, Goodbois collaborated with the German rap/pop artist CRO to create a custom bomber jacket for his upcoming tour in Germany. The design was inspired by an earlier piece from the Goodbois Dream Pack ’23, where this character first appeared. The idea was to merge CRO’s iconic character with it, while also incorporating the signature Alaca College typeface that plays a central role in the Goodbois universe.

To give the jacket a classic yet timeless edge, the design placed Nautica at the forefront—presented in a circular motif that symbolized a true ‘full circle moment’. On the inside, a personal detail was added: a stitched-in photo of CRO from 2009, when he wore a Goodbois tank top for the very first time, closing the loop between past and present.

The sweaters shown at the bottom are leftover concept explorations, showcasing how the design could have been reimagined for colorful knitwear and additional pieces.

With the new fall/winter season, Goodbois presents “The Identity Crisis” – a collection born from uncertainty, where art becomes the only place identity can exist.

This project uses Ofform, designed by Marek Suchánek, to express themes of identity, tension, and renewal. The typeface’s sharp, fractured forms reflect the feeling of crisis and change, while the clean layout keeps the message clear and direct. The typography supports the idea of breaking down and rebuilding, visually reinforcing the project’s emotional tone.

Additionally, MuseoModerno by Omnibus-Type is a geometric typeface inspired by early 20th-century European avant-garde movements, evoking a Modernist sense of distance – detached, abstract, and relentlessly searching for new forms of seeing.

The head in this design evolved from an older piece we created for our World Care college jacket. Back then, the head carried a globe. Now we’ve reworked it into a universal symbol for broader mental themes.

The concept of the butterfly with G wings was inspired by its traits of transformation and change, as well as his diversity and uniqueness, reflecting adaptability to new identities.

For the release party of music artist Goldielocks—following her breakthrough year and standout success at UMK—we designed a poster built around her primary typeface, Windsor Roman, with Windsor BT’s Light Condensed for the smaller texts. As the event took place close to Halloween, the concept introduced a subtle, atmospheric Halloween influence layered onto the official promotional and press imagery for her debut album, Two of a Kind. The album marks Goldielocks’ emergence as one of Finland’s most promising new international pop artists.

Graphic design, typeface visualization, and album visuals were created by Jirka Väätäinen, with photography by lumiilo. The typeface for the album titles and tracklist is Podium Sharp, which name suits the stage-craving aura and danceable mood on this album and cover.

About the working-class vibe, showing that even when times are tough, we can still find joy and strength in laughter and music.

This showcase highlights the art direction for Finnish rapper Aste’s releases from 2023 to 2025, leading up to his album Nuori & Kuolematon.

A key element in the visual identity is the use of Sequel 100 Black – a bold, modern typeface that reflects Aste’s strong presence and the mix of hip hop and pop in his music. The typeface gives the artwork a clear and confident look, inspired by the clean aesthetics of 1990s Finnish pop and hip hop visuals.

We used Sequel 100 Black consistently to build a recognizable style across covers, social media, and videos. It brings structure and energy, much like Aste’s lyrics — direct, emotional, and powerful.

For the single “Duunarit”, we added DNS Gibsons Two, a more technical and industrial-looking font. It fits the theme of the song, which connects everyday work life with music. While Sequel stands for identity and legacy, Gibson Two brings contrast and highlights the working-class vibe of the song.

Together, these two fonts tell a visual story: strong, clean, and rooted in both past and present – just like Aste’s music.

About dealing with inner turmoil, finding energy, and pushing through life’s chaos. The phrase “chakrat on sekasin” emphasizes this struggle.

The main logo design of City Stars Records

Renowned electro house DJ Tujamo has recently launched City Stars Records, a label that not only showcases his own music but also highlights emerging talent within the genre.

Inspired by his global nightlife experiences, the label's design centers around a globe motif, symbolizing its worldwide reach. Simbayu Studios has developed a cohesive visual identity, where each release features a color-changing theme. Recently, they’ve also introduced imagery reflecting the distinctive aesthetic of house music. The Booty Bold typography creates a strong visual presence for the main titles, while TWK Lausanne adds a sleek, modern feel to the artist listings. In the examples shown here, you can see different types of styles.

For the accompanying videos, the goal was to craft a vibrant, pulsating atmosphere through dynamic visuals, using a vivid, evolving color palette or striking imagery with each new release, while maintaining a consistent typographic structure with Booty Bold for the main titles and Lausanne for the artist names.

Over the past year, Simbayu Studios has been dedicated to shaping the visual identity of this project. By using a single typeface in various colors, we developed a distinct and compelling design concept for Leo Stillman, a music artist from Helsinki, Finland. This unique approach has carried through to his upcoming album, Ihmiset & Ongelmat, set to release on September 13, along with a music video for one of the singles.

Drawing inspiration from iconic designs like those by Mike Diehl and Paul Volk in 1991, where many letters were crafted specifically for MCA Records’ New Edition greatest-hits package, Leo’s album design captures a similar timeless quality, evoking the essence of a greatest-hits collection.

For Finnish rap artist Costi’s second Playmaker drop, the objective was to design a Western-and US-themed collection inspired by collegiate apparel, prominently featuring a distinctive collegiate-style with stretched Mesquite on a curve.

The collection includes two shirts in black and white and a crewneck with fitting track pants, all showcasing the same artwork in different styles. The track pants, as shown in the video, feature various college-type logos from up to down, inspired by several sport apparel from the NBA, incorporating the initials P and M for Playmaker. Additionally, the U-shaped horseshoe serves as a subtle reference to “University.”

For the logo on the track pants, we chose Vivaldi for its subtle and nostalgic feel. Its understated design ensures the logo blends in without standing out too much. In between the prints you can find a little quote – “There’s gold in the river” – written in the font used in his latest album cover for Coast to Costi, Celtic Garamond.

We crafted fresh visuals for Dillistone’s 2025 show at Store Vega, featuring the minimalistic tech style of Hall Fetica Upper as the chosen text typeface for conveying information. The artist’s logo is in bold caps from Giorgia.

Moreover, the merchandise has undergone a update, seamlessly blending the dynamic graphics from the promotional flyers with the captivating allure of Black Mamba and Longinus.

For the debut album Avain, symbolizing the key to the Finnish rapper Lil Yayo’s musical universe, we delved into the captivating realm of Kamui Oscuro’s art. This album unfolds as a transcendental journey through an ethereal and dreamlike soundscape, weaving together profound lyrics and hypnotic melodies that enchant the listener.

Drawing inspiration from his previous collaboration with Julian Grönberg on the single “Ei Voi Unohtaa,” the album’s design maintains a thematic connection. However, this time, the title, tracklist, and information banners are meticulously crafted in a sharp and eerie font named Sinistre, designed by French artist Lazy Dog, also known as Jules Durand.

Lil Yayo first garnered attention on SoundCloud in 2017, swiftly ascending to cult status within the underground music scene. His national recognition by Universal Music came through his recording of Tinze’s song “BaeBae,” featuring Jannika B., solidifying his impact and influence in the music industry.

Finnish rapper Costi, also known as Tuomas Kostiainen, released his second studio album, Coast to Costi, under PME Records. He began his musical journey in 2016 and officially launched his career in 2021,

In late 2021, Costi introduced his debut EP Safari through PME, offering melodic drill and emotionally resonant lyrics. Notably, the singles “Movie” and “Robben,” the latter named after the Dutch soccer legend, have collectively garnered over a million streams and numerous radio plays, showcasing Costi’s confidence in his unique style.

Costi’s recent album covers, such as for Limbo, are a reflection of his inspiration drawn from the captivating realm of fairytales, entwined with artistic aesthetics reminiscent of Michelangelo's masterpieces and the whimsical clockwork of Alice in Wonderland. Yet, for his forthcoming album, he is embarking on a creative shift, delving into the enduring narrative of David versus Goliath, while infusing it with a unique Western twist.

When selecting the typeface for this cover and the track list, Celtic Garamond the 2nd emerged as the ideal choice, both in appearance and resonance, seamlessly infusing a medieval ambiance into the world of the cover art.

With the new fall and winter season Goodbois introduces their latest collection, titled “The Dreampack – Igniting dreams with futuristic minimal design”.

At the core of this collection lies the Serous typeface by Mark Gowing, thoughtfully chosen to establish a bridge between dreams and the future. Its bold, distinctive LCD style, particularly in the “Good” part, reflects an affiliation with goodness.

In addition, we’ve incorporated Dyade, a typeface by Stefanie Vogl, to infuse an ethereal allure into our designs. Paired with our iconic basketball globe logo, it creates an intriguing fusion, akin to a delightful distortion, now playfully referred to as “infected”.

A love child of Copenhagen, Shanghai, London and Berlin, Dillistone is the stage name of Morten Aamodt, a Danish born producer and songwriter who learnt his art in the post-World War II bunker studios and clubs of China.

The visual identity for Dillistone’s tour and other event branding was made with Boogie School Sans. This choice seamlessly blends modern aesthetics, electrifying vibrancy, and refined elegance, making it the perfect option for creating striking event posters and flyers, amplified by a vibrant color palette. The musician’s logo is in caps from Giorgia.

An evening that bridges the timeless and the contemporary, as artists curate exclusive all-time favorites from their collections. These one-of-a-kind back-to-back sets can’t be found anywhere else. In contrast to the vibrant and colorful world typically associated with Rony Rex, this event unfolds under the cover of night, embodying a character born from the enigmatic symbol of a question mark. The design elements cleverly integrate the curves of two question marks, one forming the character's body and the other serving as its arms. This duality is also reflected in the logo, where mirrored question marks intersect. The typeface, boldly chosen, is T1 Zirbal in both its regular and bold variants, adding a striking visual element to the overall design.

Rony Rex, a Finnish electronic music producer and DJ, has significantly shaped the electronic dance music landscape, primarily within the realms of house and techno. His distinct style and high-octane live performances have solidified his reputation.

It’s astonishing to think he’s been a fixture in the scene for nearly a decade. To commemorate this milestone, Youth Control, the Finnish independent dance label, is preparing to honor the remarkable journey of one of its most influential musical talents with a 10 Years Anniversary EP. In collaboration with his art director, they’ve crafted a design that exudes the effervescence of champagne uncorked during celebratory moments and resonates with the same vibrant energy as his live shows. This design is a symphony of quirky and surreal shapes, mirroring the emotions and sensations evoked by his music.

Once again, Brice has seamlessly embodied his brand identity, now established as the official typeface, featuring bold and regular, captivating, and delightfully eccentric aesthetics.

Vain Elämää is one of Finland’s most popular TV shows, where artists release singles of other artists with their own twist. This year, the show celebrates its 14th consecutive season. One of the featured artists was Finnish rapper Hätä Miika, taking on this task with a cover of “Ei Yksikään”, a song by CMX.

The artwork of his release shows a photograph of the rapper, paired with bold typography. Plakat from Out of the Dark track titles in a simple and minimalistic style; his stage name is modestly set in good old Times, reinforcing the boldness of the headlines.

Nura, a talented German rapper with Saudi-Arabian and Eritrean heritage, has made a significant mark in the music industry. Notably, she gained fame as one half of the German rap duo SXTN. However, in 2018, SXTN decided to part ways, and Nura embarked on a successful solo career.

Her latest album, Periodt, released on October 4th, 2023, showcases her evolution as an artist. The album’s cover art is a testament to her bold message and unique style. To capture the essence of the album title, the typeface Dassie from Prioritype was chosen, with its wavy edges perfectly emphasizing the album’s dynamic rhythm and its softer, introspective side.

For his latest single, "All Star," in collaboration with IBE, Finnish rapper/singer T Swoop opted for a cover art inspired by the aesthetics of all-star basketball and a vibrant Los Angeles color palette. This design approach aligns with his previous EP, incorporating script typefaces like Inoxida into his artwork.

The primary title is elegantly rendered in Marvin Visions, lending a classic and nostalgic vibe while cleverly incorporating a star motif. Complementing this retro aesthetic, Inoxida literally underscores the minimalistic cover art design.

Who is Off Key Junior? Junior, Marek, Cecil, and Andrew, residing in both Berlin and London, united by their shared passion for music and a particular affinity for French house and the indie vibes of the 2000s. As talented DJs, producers, and songwriters, they converge to form the sensational collective known as Off Key Junior.

For this collective, they opted to introduce themselves through a single character adorned with a mask designed by art director Julian Grönberg. Julian not only oversaw the graphic and typographic aspects but also spearheaded the transformation. Using a rugged a selfmade brush design as a starting point, they reimagined the original smiley face, turning it into a refreshing character.

The artist’s name uses the Overglow brush typeface, skillfully underlining every bold image and typeface within their visuals. “X Lovespeake” is set in the similar Flood. This attention to detail extends to their latest music video, “Taste Like Summertime,” where they employ Aachen typeface, famously featured in several Tarantino films. This choice not only creates a striking contrast but also infuses a cinematic and retro aesthetic into their artistic music world. In addition, there is Marvin Visions for the title and Credit for the first line.

The latest Goodbois collection embodies an ongoing journey towards a minimalistic mindset, seamlessly mirrored in the selected typography. It also spotlights a heightened awareness of our planet’s resources.

The lettering on most of the apparel is based on an upright style of Oakley and echoes the form of small rocks, akin to our prominent backprint where diverse stones harmoniously stack, symbolizing mutual support.

As for the second option, we've reintroduced the cherished classic Caxton. This reaffirms our brand’s identity and aligns with themes centered around the organic origins of nature’s elements.

To achieve the optimal cohesiveness for this collection’s CI, we’ve selected the timeless and neutral typeface Neufile Grotesk. This choice contributes to an overall design that is both contemporary and enduring
