When Albert Heijn’s recipe magazine Allerhande needed a website overhaul, designer Ernst Dommisse gave the design an overhaul as well, opting for a consistent use of Connary Fagen’s Greycliff CF.

On his website, he writes:

Albert Heijn’s iconic Allerhande website needed to be migrated to React. There was no room for a complete UX rethink of the website but it was the perfect excuse for a visual overhaul. And we managed to sneak in some UX improvements along the way after all.

This project had been started and terminated a number of times in the past. Several designers had come and gone. This one was going to finish the job. Starting from what was there, refining, combining and completing the style to come up with a newly defined online brand presence.

In the end, it’s all about the recipes. We created an attractive and clutter-free view to inspire, convince and assist during the cooking process.
