Barritt’s is a Bermudan ginger beer that’s been made there since 1874 and is now widely sold in the United States. It’s a good ginger beer, but I also probably buy it for the wonderfully unchanged packaging, which center-stages Davida in all its wacky art-nouveau beauty and flanks it with ITC Serif Gothic. Hard to imagine a more early-70s pairing.
