For us at Hoodzpah, typefaces often start as a lettering project well received. We wanted to try our hand at a reverse contrast font, something that we were seeing a lot last year. We lettered this piece, turned it into letterpress prints, and these forms were the basis for Lone Pine, a reverse contrast, modern-western font with ornamental swash options in 2 weights.

Lone Pine was designed and engineered by Amy Hood for Hoodzpah. Letterpressed by Czar Press in Southern California.
