Seventh issue of Die Epilog, a German magazine that deals with the change of our society. By looking into the small things that are changing in our everyday lives, it wants to explore and welcome the bigger shift around us.

Everything is nothing. Nothing counts, nothing matters. Yesterday still living in the Anthropocene, but today, well, where are we now? With this issue we proclaim the era of New Triviality and choose modes of the irrelevant as an entry lane: We are looking for the void. We are applying ourselves to complete indifference. And we are setting ourselves one last big task: To disappear.

Die Epilog’s standard typefaces Moderat and Tiempos were complemented by Monarch for this issue.

Monarch is not only perfect as a link to the royal cover picture but also comes in a distinct and elegant appearance, while not screaming out loudly “Hello, I’m important!”. That’s why it seems perfect for the different nuances of irrelevance.
