News website The Lily, named after the first U.S. newspaper by women, is a product of The Washington Post:Our mission is two-fold: Empower with news and information and promote inclusivity by exposing diverse voices. The difficulty of this is not lost on us. We will seek contributions from those diverse in race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and economic status. We will engage our generation.”

The Lily uses Georgia for body text, Monserrat for subheads, pull quotes, photo attribution section navigation and dates. Merriweather is used for headlines. The logo appears to be custom drawn.
