A metal plaque set in the sidewalk somewhere in Amsterdam, with a variant of the classic “Lorem ipsum” dummy text. What is this, a designer’s prank? The memorial of the unpaid copywriter? Or is it fake? Any pointers are welcome.

I have no idea who made or placed this plate (What’s the exact location?), but their taste in fonts isn’t half bad: The typeface is Omnes by Joshua Darden. — Isoletters

  1. Update: Reddit user stefanvdw mentions that this is at Artis, the Amsterdam Royal Zoo. Makes perfect sense – Omnes is the corporate typeface used by Artis.
